The Bagnition software is fully integrated with Baggage Information Display (BIDs) systems. The Bagnition software can communicate with airport packaged devices that are supplied with the BIDs monitors. This type of partnering ensures that future maintenance and spares can easily be handled by the airport IT teams who support these systems.

The Shabstec BIDS solution is entirely browser-based. This will remove the need for each display to host client software. The Bagnition solution automatically detects the client IP address and use its configuration to display specific content for that device.

In addition to the standard displays, the BIDs software can also be configured to show additional information such as:

• Number of bags due to arrive at the build output.
• Number of bags that have arrived at the build output. 

Bagnition operators have the ability to enter free text which automatically scrolls along the bottom of the BIDs screens. This text can be set to display on an individual display or a group of operator configurable displays. The length of time that the text is displayed is also configurable.

The Shabstec Flight Information Display solution (FIDS) is able to show flight information to passengers so that they are aware of the current flight status.

This includes flight status changes and, boarding gate information and delays etc.
